The work initiated by Bağlar Municipality with the slogan “Healthy Villages Healthy Society” continued on its third day in Yukarı Mollaali Neighborhood. Within the scope of the work, health screening, information seminars and activities for children were organized.
Health screenings, information seminars and activities for children were organized in rural neighborhoods by Bağlar Municipality Health Services and Women and Family Services Directorate with the slogan “Healthy Villages, Healthy Society”.
The work continued in Yukarı Mollaali District on the third day, following Yemişalan (Hevarê Dahlê) hamlet and Övündüler (Erwaniya Jorîn) District.
For the program, in which unit managers also participated, field work was conducted in the neighborhood and families were invited.
Various activities were organized with children
Various events were organized for children by the Women and Family Services Directorate staff, accompanied by clowns, and gifts were prepared. A seminar titled “gender” was also organized within the scope of the study, and women’s problems and demands were listened to.
Health screenings were conducted
Doctors affiliated with the Health Services Directorate also made developmental assessments of the children. Vitamin and mineral supplements were given to children with developmental delays and pregnant women.
Oral and dental health screening was carried out by Dr. Arzu Özbek from the Chamber of Dentists. Toothbrushes and toothpaste were presented to the children.
A seminar was held for women
Health teams performed diabetes and blood pressure tests for older individuals and provided thermometer support to women with children.
While information was provided on family planning within the scope of health services, a seminar against breast cancer was given for women.
